Michael Schumacher drives the updated silver arrow on the fourth Place at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. Nico Rosberg had a slight collision, at the start with Renault driver Robert Kubica and had to go off the track and lost a few places. Later, Rosberg was again unlucky when he lost valuable seconds in the pit stop.
Rosberg drove off, stopped and pushed back, bacause of an issue with the right front wheel nut. Finally it reached the 13th Place. Really good to see, was the overtaking manoeuvre between Michael Schumacher an Jenson Button. Jenson Button drove straight from the box and was overtaken outside in the first Curve by Schumacher – a world champion overtaking like old times. Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren-Mercedes retired a few laps from the finish line with a puncture on the left front tyre. Teammate Button went to the fifth Place. Otherwise, the race was rather static and saw pole-sitter Marc Webber (Red Bull) as a sovereign winner. On second place, Fernando Alonso (Ferrari). At third – with massive brake problems at the end of the race – Red Bull pilot Sebastion Vettel.
