Our spy photographers have managed to capture new pictures of the 2011 Mercedes CLS-Class testing in Germany.
The redesigned CLS features a larger grille, a more prominent front bumper, angular headlights, and LED daytime running lights.
Perhaps the most interesting detail is the position of the third brake light. It is located in the bumper between the exhausts pipes.
Under the hood, engine options will mirror those offered in the E-Class. This means we can expect a variety of petrol and diesel units, including a 3.5-liter V6 and a 5.5-liter V8. More importantly, the CLS AMG could be introduced with the long-awaited twin-turbo V8 with at least 400 kW (544 hp). A hybrid version is also expected.
