The BRABUS designers have modeled a front spoiler lip that attaches to the lower part of the AMG front apron on the sedans and wagons of the latest E-Class. Its sophisticated shape further reduces lift on the front axle for further improved directional stability.

For the sedan there is also a diffuser and rear spoiler that is mounted on the trunk lid. The former features a centrally located reflector, and stylishly blends with the rear bumper. It has cutouts on either side for the tailpipes of the production exhaust or of the BRABUS quad sport exhaust system.

Like the front spoiler the components for the rear are manufactured in OEM quality from Pur-R-Rim plastic ensuring perfect fit and excellent paintability, both in body or in contrasting color. BRABUS also offers these components with a titanium-colored paint finish.

The Mercedes S-Class with AMG styling also gets a more athletic appearance with additional BRABUS body components that are manufactured in OEM quality from Pur-R-Rim as well. The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement kit can be painted in body color or come with a glossy titanium paint finish.

The BRABUS front spoiler improves the aerodynamic properties of the luxury sedan. As a result, the car delivers an even smoother ride, particularly at high speeds. The rear spoiler and diffuser, which also features a centrally located reflector, also contribute to even better high-speed handling.

A BRABUS aero update is also available for the E 63 AMG. To further optimize directional stability at high speeds, the BRABUS designers have developed a carbon-fiber front spoiler lip that attaches to the production bumper of the E 63 sedan or wagon. Custom-tailored air ducts from BRABUS lend the side outlets of the AMG apron even more sporty profile.

Also made from super-light composite material are the BRABUS rear spoiler lip and the diffuser insert, which are both reserved for the sedan.

The rear appearance of this model is characterized by the visual trademark of BRABUS, the centrally located reflector. But that’s not all: the diffuser provides the perfect backdrop for the ceramics-coated dual design tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system. Thrilling looks are not the only strengths of the sport exhaust. An integrated flap system lets the driver choose between a discrete ‘coming home’ mode and the sport setting that provides an even more exciting exhaust note, all at the push of a button in the cockpit.

The S 63 can be refined in a similar manner: an additional front spoiler made from Formula 1 material of choice carbon fiber for the AMG bumper was modeled for it as well. It benefits the car’s appearance and handling characteristics at high speed.

In addition to the spoiler lip for the trunk lid there is also a center diffuser with reflector for this model. Also in the product program: the stainless-steel BRABUS flap control exhaust system. It features cast-aluminum ceramics-coated tailpipes and a variable exhaust note controlled from the steering wheel that spans the gap from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde.

The BRABUS program naturally also offers countless additional options for customizing all AMG models. These include custom-tailored BRABUS Monoblock wheels with diameters of up to 20 inches, depending on the model in question. BRABUS front sport fenders, available for all E- and S-Class models, are yet another visual delicacy.

BRABUS wouldn’t be BRABUS if it didn’t offer engine tuning for the various AMG engines. Highlights in this category are the 6.3-liter V8 fast-revving engine and the new 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo engine.

The interior also offers a wide open playing field for refinement. The BRABUS upholstery shop uses supple leather and Alcantara to adapt the interior to the customer’s personal preferences down to the last detail. Other instruments of cockpit refinement are carbon-fiber and exotic wood trim elements available in any desired color and in a number of different designs.

In building this supercar the BRABUS engineers drew upon the know-how gained from building numerous E V12 sedans and coupes. Precision work was required to implant the BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo engine and a reinforced five-speed automatic transmission in the engine bay of the E-Class Cabriolet.

The most powerful engine in the BRABUS lineup is based on the three-valve V12 engine of the current Mercedes S 600 model. The company’s engine-building shop reengineers this engine in all aspects. A special crankshaft with longer stroke and larger pistons in conjunction with increased cylinder bore bumps displacement from standard 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 384 cu. in.). Further modifications to the engine’s inner workings include cylinder heads optimized for mixture flow and sports camshafts.

The engine peripherals are reworked just as extensively: Two special exhaust manifolds with integrated larger turbochargers ensure a more efficient turbocharging process. The BRABUS biturbo system is rounded out with four water-to-air intercoolers which also make a crucial contribution to the exceptional power yield. The stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with four tailpipes was created specifically for the E-Class Cabriolet. The intake side was also completely redesigned: Under the custom-built hood with integrated carbon-fiber ram-air hood scoop is a completely newly developed intake manifold.

The perfect interaction of all performance-increasing measures is coordinated by newly programmed mapping for the electronic engine management system.

The BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo powertrain, lubricated with high-tech lubricants from technology partner ARAL, transforms the four-seater convertible into the most powerful and fastest of its kind in the world. 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), limited electronically in the car to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft), are as unique as the driving performance this car delivers.

The power cabriolet is equipped with a BRABUS high-performance limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent, and sprints from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. After 9.9 seconds the exclusive automobile already reaches a speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The 300-km/h (186-mph) barrier shatters after 23.9 seconds. Depending on the final-drive ratio the BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet has a top speed of up to 370 km/h (231 mph).

Sophisticated aerodynamic properties are essential for directional stability and active safety in a car capable of attaining such enormous speeds. The sporty yet elegant BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement components were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel, and like in Formula 1 racing they are made from ultra-light yet high-strength carbon fiber.

The BRABUS front apron is shaped to reduce lift on the front axle and to guide a maximum amount of cooling air to the radiators and front brakes of the V12 model. Air outlets in the sides route the hot air away from the heat exchangers as quickly as possible. LED daytime running lights integrated into the apron give the E V12 Cabriolet an unmistakable appearance that can be quickly identified even in the rearview mirror.

For further improved directional stability at extremely high speeds and to further increase cornering speeds, BRABUS widens the body of the E-Class Cabriolet. Newly designed front sport fenders widen the track and allow the installation of ultra-wide 9.5Jx19 wheels mounted with size 265/30 ZR 19 tires.

Special carbon-fiber rear fender flares add 60 millimeters (2.4 inches) to the width of the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet. They create space for ten-inch wide wheels mounted with high-performance tires up to size 295/30 ZR 19, supplied by technology partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.

Professional engineering work was also invested into every detail of the suspension: special suspension components were custom-designed for the front and rear axle of the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet. They provide a much wider range of individual suspension settings. These components are joined by a BRABUS coil-over suspension calibrated to the higher engine weight. The suspension was developed together with Bilstein and features ten selectable settings for bound and rebound front and back. The ride height can also be adjusted by up to 35 millimeters to suit each driver’s personal preferences.

The BRABUS high-performance brake system easily masters the car’s incredible performance. It features 380 x 37 millimeter (15.0 x 1.45 in.), vented and grooved steel brake discs and 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the front axle. The rear stops on 360 x 28 millimeter (14.2 x 1.1 in.) discs with 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers.

Naturally the BRABUS E V12 Cabriolet also features an especially exclusive interior. The first vehicle of the small-series production run, which celebrated its public debut at BRABUS Middle East in Dubai, the company’s own branch in the United Arab Emirates, breaks the mold in this area as well. The cockpit is clad in a perfectly finished combination of lipstick-red and black leather.

The ergonomically shaped BRABUS steering wheel and inlays made from genuine carbon fiber on dashboard, center console and side trim add sporty highlights. The speedometer with 400-km/h (250-mph) dial bears witness to the unique performance potential of the open-top four-seater car even while it is standing still.

Obviously, it was a question of honour for the PIECHA Design specialists to develop as one of the first ones an entire styling and tuning programme for the new SLK R172. And thus, they present the “Accurian RS”, a sporty, elegant interpretation of the Stuttgart-based roadster. Piecha gives the new, more defined front of the SLK an Accurian RS front spoiler lip with lateral grids.

The lip can be combined with a cover, which turns the grid into a three-part piece and further emphasises the LED daytime running lights on the right and left side. For a quieter airflow around the lateral body of the new SLK, PIECHA Design installed a set of Accurian RS side skirt covers. The covers are bonded easily and positively on the original side skirts. Furthermore, the opposed installed grids provide for a more prominent design. For all R172 models, no matter whether with the side skirts, the AMG or also the Accurian RS sills, PIECHA Design offers per side four LED recessed spotlights each.

The rear end has a considerable sportier appearance thanks to the Accurian RS rear diffuser, which is available in a small and large version. The diffusor, which runs up to the subfloor, not only provides for additional output at the rear axle, but also frames the QUADRO 4-tube mufflers in perfection. In both versions, the serial rear apron has to be slightly reworked.

Moreover, a diffusor application is available for the AMG styling rear apron. The Accurian RS aerodynamic programme is completed by a classical rear spoiler lip, which has a simple adhesive fixation. Another world premiere are the PIECHA MP1 monobloc high-tech rims, which perfectly match the modern and sporty, elegant design language of the Accurian RS with its newly interpreted turbine design.

In the front in 8.5×19 ET25 with 225/35 R19 and in the back in optional 9.5 or 10.5×19 with 255 or 275/30 R19, the MP1 monobloc wheel provides in connection with 25 mm lowering springs for a perfect wedge shape.

Finally, the Mercedes specialists from Rottweiler offer practical comfort top control, which allows for an opening and closing of the top via the serial key up to a speed of 60 km/h.

BRABUS builds the five-door vehicle by hand based on the current Mercedes G-Class. Like all special models from BRABUS, recognized by the German Federal Vehicle Registration Agency as a car manufacturer, the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR is available with an extensive luxury equipment package.

As the name indicates, the BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo engine is implanted into the engine bay of the G-Class. The elaborate implantation of the twelve-cylinder engine is as much a masterwork as is its design, which is based on the V12 bi-turbo engine from the current Mercedes S 600 model.

The basis for the enormous increase in power is the displacement increase. Displacement of the three-valve engine is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 384 cubic inches) in the state-of-the-art BRABUS engine shop with the help of a special crankshaft with longer stroke and larger pistons and corresponding cylinder bore. Additionally the cylinder heads are optimized for mixture flow and fitted with special camshafts.

The engine peripherals now include an entirely new intake system and the BRABUS 800 bi-turbo system with two special manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers, and four water-to-air intercoolers. This ensemble is joined by a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system custom-developed for the BRABUS 800. It features free-flow metal catalysts and four chrome tailpipes that exit in pairs in front of both rear wheels.

Precision mapping for engine electronics coordinate the perfect interaction of all new components and ensures exemplary smoothness, maximum power yield and low emissions.

With these modifications the engine in the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR delivers a staggering rated power output of 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), already available from a low 2.100 rpm. In the vehicle peak torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). The high-tech lubricants for the entire powertrain come from technology partner ARAL.

Driving performance speaks for itself: Combined with a reinforced five-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive the engine shoots the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.0 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h (149 mph). Without the limiter the high-performance off-roader would be capable of reaching 270 km/h (168 mph).

In keeping with its unique performance the BRABUS supercar also sports a delectable exterior: The BRABUS WIDESTAR wide-body version lends the classic G-Class body an even more striking and dynamic profile.

The powerfully shaped fender flares add 12 centimeters (4.7 in.) to the body width. They feature integrated air outlets for optimized venting of the wheel wells. Strikingly styled door moldings give the sides of the G-Class high recognition value. Sturdy stainless-steel running boards facilitate entering and exiting of the vehicle day and night. LED lights integrated into the front and rear WIDESTAR fenders illuminate the running boards whenever a door handle is pulled or the keyless fob is operated.

The WIDESTAR fender flares create space for extremely large wheels and tires. BRABUS offers the owner of the wide-body version, which is also available for all regular five-door G-Class models, a wide range of custom-tailored tire/wheel combinations with diameters between 20 and 23 inches. The most exclusive option for the 800 WIDESTAR features size 11Jx23 wheels front and back. Customers can choose from two newly developed forged wheels, the three-piece Monoblock E evo “PLATINUM EDITION” design or the one-piece Monoblock F “PLATINUM EDITION” wheel. The high-performance tires in size 305/35 R 23 come from Pirelli or YOKOHAMA.

The BRABUS WIDESTAR version offers not just a wider track but also an even more impressive appearance. The front apron continues the shape of the flares on both sides and provides the engine and front brakes with cooling air through generously dimensioned air inlets. At the same time its sophisticated contour also reduces lift on the front axle. Six stylishly integrated auxiliary headlights optimize active safety at night. During the day the BRABUS LED daytime running lights below the main headlamps draw attention to the power-G.

The design style of the front apron with its tapered flares and stylized underride guard is continued on the rear apron. The WIDESTAR rear bumper features a centrally mounted reflector and a fog lamp and backup light on either side. The designer suite is rounded out by the BRABUS roof spoiler with integrated LED brake light.

For a perfect combination of sporty handling and excellent ride comfort the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR comes equipped with the innovative BRABUS Ride Control smooth-ride suspension. The BRABUS high-tech suspension system was developed in cooperation with technology partner BILSTEIN, and features two-way electrically adjustable shock absorbers front and back.

At the push of an aluminum button with BRABUS logo on the center console the driver can manually choose between two setups: In comfort mode the off-roader offers exemplary ride comfort. At higher speeds or for more spirited driving selecting the firmer damper setting results in more dynamic handling and further increased safety reserves.

Additionally the BRABUS Ride Control suspension features automatic damper adjustment. When the vehicle sensors detect that certain parameters such as speed, lateral acceleration and steering angle might lead to a critical situation the system automatically switches to the firmer sport setting within milliseconds. The sportier damper setup further increases the directional stability of the 4×4. The CAN control unit also detects a return to a more moderate driving style. It then automatically switches the shock absorbers back to the comfort position.

Another active safety feature is the BRABUS high-performance brake system. The front axle is fitted with six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and vented discs with a diameter of 380 millimeters (15.0 inches). The rear stops on four-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 345-mm discs (13.6 inches).

The cockpit of the BRABUS 800 WIDESTAR is exclusive and individual. The equipment list includes an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel, a speedometer with 280-km/h (182-mph) dial and stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo.

The BRABUS interior is custom-tailored to suit the individual owner’s taste and the especially soft and breathable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara is available in a multitude of colors. Customers can also choose from various upholstery designs and the wood trim can be manufactured in any desired color. Upon request the wood elements can even be finished in the especially exclusive yachting design.

A high-tech turbocharger system for the high-tech engine of the SLS: The BRABUS engine engineers have designed a state-of-the-art twin turbo system for the fast-revving eight-cylinder four-valve engine of the SLS.

The high-performance exhaust manifolds are optimized for exhaust-gas flow and were custom-developed for this sports car. They drive the two turbochargers. The chargers themselves are another BRABUS custom development. For faster response and better efficiency both chargers feature an air diverter valve.

V-engines are normally fitted with two right-turning chargers, which entails drawbacks for the response characteristics. To eliminate these drawbacks the BRABUS engineers have developed the B63 bi-turbo system with a left-turning charger for the left side of the engine. That allows the turbine and its inlet to be designed for perfect gas flow and gas dynamics. The result is an outstanding engine with an exemplary power curve. The BRABUS engine conversion also includes a generously dimensioned intercooling system with two water-to-air heat exchangers. The dual-flow intake manifold gets its combustion air through a package-optimized air filter housing and high-performance air filters. The company engine shop also modifies the inner workings of the engine that like all BRABUS engines is lubricated exclusively with fully-synthetic ARAL high-performance motor oil. Specially manufactured BRABUS forged pistons reduce the compression ratio to 9.0:1.

The newly programmed engine management system with special mapping for ignition and injection orchestrates the perfect interaction of the BRABUS high-performance components. The system also features an integrated electronic boost pressure control. The result is an engine that delivers its extreme power smoothly while meeting the strict emission limits set by EURO V standards.

The exhaust side of the V8-engine is upgraded with free-flow high-performance catalysts and the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system that features four slanted tailpipes with diameters of 84 millimeters (3.2 in.). The BRABUS exhaust is made from ultra-light titanium and weighs 12 kilograms (26 lbs.) less than the production exhaust. A pneumatic flap system, controlled from the cockpit, adds a “coming home” sound setting that is quieter than the production exhaust. The alternatively selectable sport setting gives the 6.3-liter eight-cylinder engine an even throatier note than the stock exhaust.

Powered by this engine the BRABUS 700 Biturbo is among the most powerful super sports cars in the world. As the name indicates, the engine produces a rated power output of 700 hp (690 bhp) / 514 kW at 6,600 rpm. The peak torque of 850 Nm (626 lb-ft) is already available at a low 4,300 rpm.

In combination with the SPEEDSHIFT DCT seven-speed sport transmission the resulting performance is breathtaking: The two-seater car sprints from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds and reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) in 10.2 seconds. Top speed is 340 km/h (213 mph).

To give the SLS also a sportier appearance the BRABUS WIDESTAR wide-body version was developed in the wind tunnel. Like in Formula 1 racing all aerodynamic-enhancement components are manufactured from lightweight yet high-strength carbon-fiber compounds. The body components can be painted in body or contrasting color or finished with a clear coat for a purebred racing look.

The BRABUS WIDESTAR flares on the rear axle add 20 millimeters (0.8 in.) to the width of the gullwing. They also facilitate the installation of ultra-light forged wheels, which widen the track and thus further improve driving dynamics. To put even more emphasis on the wedge shape of the coupe the BRABUS Monoblock F “PLATINUM EDITION” wheels are mounted in a staggered combination of size 9.5Jx20 wheels in front and size 11Jx21 on the rear axle. Despite the fact that the wheels are larger than their production counterparts they weigh up to 12 percent less. The wheels are either ceramics-polished or come with a brushed-design surface. They can also be painted any desired color. The high-performance tires in sizes 275/30 ZR 20 and 295/25 ZR 21 are supplied by BRABUS technology partners Pirelli and YOKOHAMA.

At the high speeds attained by the BRABUS 700 Biturbo aerodynamic stability is absolutely essential. The BRABUS front spoiler reduces lift on the front axle at high speed. Combined with the two BRABUS covers for the upper air inlets in the apron it lends the SLS an even more striking face. For optimal aerodynamic balance BRABUS upgrades the rear with a spoiler lip on the trunk lid and a diffuser. Additionally the rear apron is fitted with side air outlets.

The sides of the gullwing are upgraded by the BRABUS gills for the front fenders. At night their integrated, blue-illuminated BRABUS lettering, activated by the keyless fob or by pulling on a door handle, stands out immediately. Sporty yet elegant side skirts create a perfect aerodynamic transition between front and rear fenders. The cladding features integrated entrance lights for safe entering and exiting of the vehicle in the dark.

The BRABUS suspension was developed in cooperation with technology partner BILSTEIN. It offers advantages both visual and driving dynamics benefits. Those include a ride-height lowering by up to 30 millimeters (1.2 in.). The integrated ‘Ride Control’ function offers the driver a choice between more comfortable or sportier damper settings compared to the production car, all at the push of a button in the cockpit. BRABUS sport stabilizers on front and rear axle affect even more agile turn-in ability and further reduced body roll. The BRABUS Ride Control smooth-ride suspension is also available with the optional BRABUS Front Lift system. BRABUS Front Lift can raise the front axle by 50 mm (2.0 in.) and increases the approach angle.

Custom-tailored interiors have been a special BRABUS domain for more than three decades. The company upholstery shop crafts individual, masterful exclusive interiors in any desired leather or Alcantara color for the SLS as well. These interiors are complemented by an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel, a speedometer with 400-km/h (250-mph) dial and matte or shiny carbon-fiber elements in any desired color. Matte anodized aluminum pedals and foot rest add further distinctly sporty highlights.

The BRABUS front spoiler is mounted to the production bumper and noticeably reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds. The front can be further upgraded with the BRABUS front apron caps. They feature strikingly styled air inlets and LED daytime running lights, available with either dark or chrome surrounds.

The CLS gets a distinctly dynamic appearance with the BRABUS sport fenders. In addition to gills each side also features a horizontal brace with illuminated BRABUS lettering.

The BRABUS sill skirts give the four-door an even lower, sleeker stance. A useful and appealing added feature is the set of integrated entrance lights that are activated via keyless fob or door handles.

LED lights for safely accessing the trunk in the dark are integrated into the BRABUS rear apron. Custom-tailored cutouts in the new rear apron provide the perfect backdrop for the four tailpipes of the BRABUS sport exhaust system. The rear appearance is rounded out with a centrally mounted reflector.

The BRABUS rear spoiler creates a perfect aerodynamic balance and emphasizes the sporty character of the BRABUS designer suit.

Another important contribution to the exclusive BRABUS look for the new CLS comes from the BRABUS Monoblock wheels in sizes ranging from 8.5Jx17 to 10.5Jx20. The OEM-quality alloys are available as one-piece and three piece wheels in six different designs.

The most exclusive version features BRABUS Monoblock VI, E or S wheels in size 9Jx20 in front and size 10.5Jx20 in back. The latest addition to the BRABUS wheel family is the BRABUS Monoblock F wheel. Presented initially as a forged wheel it is now also available as a 20-inch cast wheel, which also celebrates its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2011. On the new CLS this wheel can be mounted in sizes 8.5Jx20 and 9.5Jx20, painted a grey “Liquid Titanium” shade. The largest tires supplied by BRABUS technology partners Pirelli and YOKOHAMA for these wheels come in size 255/30 ZR 20 in front and in size 305/25 ZR 20 for the rear axle.

Specially calibrated to the use of sporty low-profile tires are the BRABUS suspension solutions, developed in cooperation with technology partner BILSTEIN. The lineup ranges from BRABUS sport springs for a ride-height lowering by some 30 millimeters (1.2 in.). Sportier ambitions can be met with the BRABUS complete suspension, which combines the ride-height lowering with firmer but yet comfortable damper settings. CLS models equipped ex-factory with the semi-active AIRMATIC air suspension system can be lowered by some 35 millimeters (1.4 in.) with the BRABUS suspension module.

BRABUS offers the world’s most extensive performance tuning program for Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model equipped with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D4 performance kit delivers an additional 31 hp (31 bhp) / 22.8 kW and produces a peak torque of 560 Nm (413 lb-ft).

For the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY BRABUS offers the ECO PowerXtra D6S tuning kit. The plug-and-play auxiliary control unit can be installed by any authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer or any BRABUS competence partner in less than 45 minutes. This high-tech performance tuning also gives the driver the opportunity to influence power yield via the selected shift program of the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission.

In ‘Eco’ mode only peak torque is increased from 620 Nm to 690 Nm (457 to 509 lb-ft) between 1,600 and 2,400 rpm. The maximum power output remains unchanged. If the ‘Sport’ mode is selected manually or activated automatically both peak torque and power output are increased. Maximum rated power output then jumps from 265 hp (261 bhp) / 195 kW to 313 hp (309 bhp) / 230 kW at a low 3,600 rpm. Using this setting, the tuned turbodiesel model sprints from 0 – 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Top speed is limited electronically to 250 km/h (155 mph).

All BRABUS engines are operated exclusively with ARAL high-performance lubricants.

Fully stainless-steel BRABUS quad sport exhaust systems are available for all CLS engine variants. The precision-calibrated exhaust systems optimize power yield and produce a throaty exhaust note.

Exclusive interior design that meets every customer request is a particular BRABUS specialty. The options for the new Mercedes CLS range from appealing accessories to custom-tailored interiors crafted from especially soft and breathable yet highly durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara.

Originally, the 2005 SL engine hood made of carbon from Kicherer was implanted. And replaced rear bumper is more than presentable result of the internal AMG Facelift. Black fender lights on the front and middle rear brake light – of course, also black – were no surprise.

The software optimization allows Erftstadt to provide the SL 65 with additional 80 hp, respectively 110 Nm of torque. In this context, the “regeneration” of the intake path is to be praised. Logical consequence of this power increase is lifting of the Vmax-lock. By now a lowering by 30 millimeters is indispensable.

The muscle car is carried by 20-inch forged rims from Carlsson. By the way, Erftstadt tuner allows the Mercedes to “communicate” with environment through the in-house exhaust system with 450 kW / 612 hp and 1000 Nm of nominal torque, and the appropriate sonorous sound.

In the interior, in turn, the attention is attracted to the custom-made Black Series dial lenses. As for the rest, there is practically all the same, because the absolute optimum was delivered.

Following on from their body kit for the CLK W209, the designers from Kamp-Lintfort have now come up with further impressive evidence of their exceptionally skilled eye for the sporting contours and perfect proportions of cars of the Mercedes-Benz marque.

The front of what is fundamentally a very elegant coupé has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. A set of side sills that, from a visual perspective, perfectly connect the car’s front and rear have been used to create the impression of a lowered outline. At the back there is a rear bumper extension with three fins, a spoiler lip for the boot, and a roof edge spoiler, with all three components also available in genuine carbon fibre as an option.

The visual effect is greatly enhanced by the new PRIOR GT wheel rims, fitted as 8.5 x 20-inch wheels at the front and 9.5 x 20-inch wheels at the rear. Together with the in-house lowering by 35 millimetres, they ensure that the wheel arches are filled perfectly. The PRIOR GT rims are available in matt black, gloss black and silver.

With regard to the exhaust system, the customer has the choice between a tail pipe on the left and a complete sports 4-pipe exhaust system in stainless steel. The exhaust system is, of course, MADE IN GERMANY, as are all the other parts of the body kit. It is also worth mentioning that all the parts of this conversion kit also fit the convertible version of the E-Class. PRIOR DESIGN offers a range of trim parts in carbon for the interior.

In addition to the extravagant high-tech carbon-fiber body program for the gullwing the tuner also offers ultralight forged wheels, an electronically adjustable Ride Control smooth-ride suspension, a titanium high-performance exhaust system with electronically controlled sound management and custom BRABUS interiors.

To give the SLS an even more muscular appearance the BRABUS designers have developed custom-tailored BRABUS WIDESTAR components for the rear axle. Like all other body components they are made from extremely light yet very strong carbon fibers identical to the ones used in Formula 1 racing. The add-on parts for the rear fenders and the rear fascia create an even more spectacular look and make room for special wheels that widen the rear track by 20 millimeters for even further improved driving dynamics.

The suspension engineers developed custom-tailored versions of the ultralight BRABUS Monoblock F PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels in sizes 9.5Jx20 in front and 11Jx21 on the rear axle for the wide version of the SLS. These wheels are available with a brushed-design or ceramics-polished surface and can also be painted in any desired color. The staggered wheels with 20- and 21-inch diameters on front and rear axles further emphasize the wedge-shaped look of the sports car.

Despite the wheels’ bigger size they deliver a weight reduction of up to 12 percent compared to the SLS production wheels. The reduced unsprung weight further results in even more agile handling. BRABUS technology partners Pirelli and YOKOHAMA supply the optimal high-performance tires in sizes 275/30 ZR 20 and 295/25 ZR 21.

The wide version is rounded out by aerodynamic-enhancement components developed in the wind tunnel. All BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement components are made from carbon fibers and are available with a matte or glossy clear-coated finish for a true racing look. Optionally these components can be painted in body or contrasting color.

To further reduce lift on front and rear axle BRABUS equips the SLS with a front spoiler for the production front fascia, a rear spoiler and a rear diffuser. Together these components create an even better aerodynamic balance. Two BRABUS covers for the upper air dams of the bumper and side air outlets for the rear fascia are further visual details of the BRABUS WIDESTAR version.

The work of the BRABUS designers also gives the sides of the gullwing more profile and further improved aerodynamic efficiency. The rocker panels were sculpted to optimize the airflow between front and rear axle and to create a perfect transition to the WIDESTAR components on the rear axle. Integrated entrance lights ensure safe entering and exiting of the vehicle in the dark.

The BRABUS air outlets for the front fenders add more of sporty touches. At night they draw attention with their integrated blue-illuminated BRABUS logos that are activated via the keyless fob or by pulling on a door handle.

The ride-height lowering by up to 30 millimeters (1.2 inches) also plays an important role in the striking appearance of the BRABUS-modified SLS. The BRABUS suspension is height-adjustable and was developed in cooperation with technology partner BILSTEIN. At the push of a button its integrated Ride Control function also offers a smoother ride than the production car. From the cockpit the driver can at any time – even while driving – switch between damper settings that offer a more comfortable or a sportier ride than the production car.
For sporty-minded SLS owners BRABUS offers stiffer sway bars for front and rear axle that reduce body roll for even more precise handling.

The BRABUS high-performance exhaust system with four slanted exhaust tips with diameters of 84 millimeters (3.3 inches) is somewhat atypical for traditional tuning. Its sound management, controlled by the driver and activated by a pneumatic flap, includes a ‘coming home’ setting that is quieter than the production exhaust. In ‘sport’ mode the 6.3-liter eight-cylinder engine produces an even more powerful exhaust note than with the production exhaust. The BRABUS exhaust system is manufactured from extremely lightweight titanium and weighs 12 kilograms (26 lbs.) or 40 percent less than the production exhaust. Another welcome by-product of this exhaust is an increase in power output by 10 hp / 7.4 kW.

BRABUS offers a multitude of exclusive custom interior options for the two-seater car as well. Carbon-fiber inlays in any desired color and matte anodized aluminum pedals and foot rest add sporty highlights.

The ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel is made from a combination of leather and Alcantara and provides especially good grip for further improved road feedback. The speedometer with 400-km/h scale (250 mph) already hints at the car’s future performance with BRABUS engine tuning.

On the Essen Motor Show 2010, Sportservice Lorinser now presents Easybrid® as an innovative solution. A retrofit electric hub motor with 30 kW additional effective output, exemplarily fitted in a Smart Fortwo. Already at the beginning of the 20th century, automobile manufacturers experimented with hub motors and fitted them into their cars – among them also Ferdinand Porsche. Nevertheless, this development was soon destined for obscurity, as the general public rather wanted a combustion engine. Due to the further increasing fuel prices and the current environmental-, climate- and CO2-debates, more and more companies are thinking about the future of individual mobility and display electric cars and hybrid automobiles, yet knowing that these will not get over their concept car status for the time being. Especially German automobile manufacturers seem to have missed the trend and only fit hybrid technology into luxury class automobiles if after all.

But what if it was possible to fit hybrid technology as a retrofit solution into cars which are designed for everybody? Is it after all possible to retrofit compact cars? Would such a modification not be too elaborate and therefore too expensive? Sportservice Lorinser, usually known for its sportive refining of Mercedes Benz automobiles, is now tackling these questions. The company based in Waiblingen / Swabia and its project manager Martin Oberdoerfer-Schmidt conclude: “The modification is possible and can also be performed in an easy and therefore economic way.”

The preconditions are that the automobile in question has to have drum brakes at the rear axle, but this is quite common with small and compact cars. So-called stators are adapted to the braking armature discs. These are accumulated electric coils which are supplied with directed power via control electronics in order to magnetise them and therefore turn the rotor on the wheel hub which is equipped with permanent magnets in rolling direction.

Therefore, any kind of engine, differential and driving shaft becomes unnecessary as the engine directly affects the individual wheel and accelerates it. Altogether, this means that the nominal capacity of the electronic motor is transferred to the road nearly without any frictional loss. With the help of a control unit the power of the hub motors is added to the initial power of the combustion engine. As the modification is usually added to the rear axle, many of the vehicles in question are therefore turned into four wheel drive cars which render additional traction advantages at winter time.

Easybrid® supports the existing fuel- or diesel engines of the individual cars and renders an additional power of approximately 30 kW (about 41hp) for improved acceleration- and final speed outputs. At the same time, the consumption- and CO2-levels drop. As electric engines are very powerful and their maximum torque is reached after only one revolution, it is also possible to move these cars solely on an electric basis. With this retrofit solution, Lorinser does not only cover all advantages of modern hybrid acceleration, but also allows the driver to choose his operational mode. Apart from the combination of both engines, he can also opt for either the sole electronic or sole combustion engine. The driver can therefore decide if he wishes to use fuel or electricity or a combination of both.

In order to recharge the lithium ionic batteries of the electric engine which for space saving measures are either stored in the reserve wheel drop or under the vehicle, the automobile can either be connected to a usual socket or use the so-called recuperation during its operation. This means that the energy which is generated during braking and driving downhill recharges the batteries. Therefore, the car can run approximately 30 kilometres on sole electric power and depending on the model far than 500 kilometres with the combined hybrid mode. In a combination with modern turbodiesel engines, even wider distances are possible.

On the Essen Motor Show 2010 which starts on November 27th, Lorinser will introduce a first driveable prototype based on a Smart Fortwo with a retrofit hub motor. Further possible models suitable would be the Volkswagen Polo, the Renault Twingo or the Fiat 500. Also older models are suitable and in future, Lorinser will develop solutions for these models as well. Already since May 2009, the Lorinser engineers have been co-operating with external development partners on the retrofit hub motors and prototypes which were equipped with such technology. The test period will be ending by mid 2011 and from then on, it will be possible to equip first customer cars.

But of course, such a modification for compact cars only makes sense if it does not exceed the value of the automobile. Therefore, Sportservice Lorinser has revised the overall project and added an innovative idea. Following the offer for mobile phones, contracts can be introduced which bind a customer to an energy provider owning the batteries of the car on a long-term basis. The energy provider could therefore use its own battery as energy storage for vehicle-to-grid concepts and the car driver could pay the batteries by an increased energy price. Thereby, Lorinser pays tribute to the fact that mobility will not become any cheaper in future, but battery prices will significantly drop and fuel prices will surely increase.

Therefore, it is interesting for both parties – the drivers of electric- and hybrid cars as well as the utility companies. The latter could even introduce an energy flat rate for corporate clients with a fleet of electric automobiles. Such concepts are momentarily discussed with energy suppliers.

With such a battery financing concept between supplier and consumer, the modification of a compact car could come down to about EUR 5,000. If the government should participate in subsidising the lower CO2-emissions by putting an extra tax on automobiles with less favourable values, the effective costs for the hub motor retrofit could be even further reduced.

With an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) the exclusive four-seater also wins the ‘Blue Ribbon’ as the world’s fastest luxury liner. BRABUS rounds out the new high-performance standard with a sporty yet elegant designer suit, custom-tailored wheels with diameters of up to 21 inches, a high-performance brake system and customer-specific interior upgrades including a state-of-the-art “iBusiness” multimedia system with Apple components.

Twelve-cylinder high-capacity engines in the S-Class look back on almost two decades of tradition at BRABUS. Powered by the SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine originally developed for the BRABUS E V12 “one of ten” the automotive luxury class now attains a new level of performance.

Displacement of the V12 engine that normally powers the latest Mercedes 600 models is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.) The displacement increase is the product of a special crankshaft with longer stroke, precision-balanced piston rods, larger-diameter pistons and corresponding larger cylinder bore. The inner workings of the BRABUS engine are modified further by high-performance camshafts and flow-optimized cylinder heads.

The new air intake was custom-developed to fit in the available space under the hood of the S-Class. The combustion air is routed through a special carbon-fiber system. Also newly developed was the BRABUS Biturbo system with two special high-performance manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers. The system also includes four water-to-air intercoolers. The BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts and four exhaust tips with BRABUS-characteristic design optimizes power yield and gives the engine a more dominant exhaust note.

Newly calibrated engine electronics with precision-programmed mapping for injection and ignition ensure exemplary power yield and compliance with strict EURO V emission limits. The high-tech lubricants for the entire powertrain are supplied by technology partner ARAL.

The SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine produces 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), available from a low 2,100 rpm. For technical reasons peak torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a reinforced five-speed automatic transmission. A BRABUS high-performance limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent is available as an option.

The extraordinary performance figures elevate the BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 800 to the exalted position of the world’s most powerful and fastest luxury sedan. Acceleration times from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) of 3.9 seconds and of just 10.3 seconds to 200 km/h (124 mph) are as unmatched in this vehicle category as is the electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

To ensure that this level of performance can be enjoyed safely at all times BRABUS also significantly upgrades suspension, brakes and aerodynamics.

These upgrades naturally also include tires capable of handling the speeds this car is capable of. The SV12 R Biturbo 800 can be equipped with BRABUS Monoblock wheels with diameters ranging from 19 to 21 inches. The largest version features wheels in size 9Jx21 on the front axle and in size 10.5Jx21 in the rear. These wheels are available in four distinct designs: Three-piece forged and high-gloss polished BRABUS Monoblock VI wheels with six double spokes, multi-spoke Monoblock E wheels, Monoblock S wheels with double-spoke design and especially exclusive Monoblock F PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels with cross-spoke design. All wheels are mounted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA tires in sizes 265/30 ZR 21 in front and 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle.

To further improve the already excellent driving dynamics of the high-performance luxury sedan BRABUS developed an electronics module for the Active Body Control suspension that lowers the ride height by some 15 millimeters (0.6 inches).

Maximum deceleration is even more important than exceptional acceleration and thus the BRABUS high-performance brake system is part of the high-tech package of the SV12 R Biturbo 800. The brake features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 380 x 36-mm (15.0 x 1.42 inches) vented and cross-drilled discs in front, and 355 x 28-mm (14.0 x 1.1 inches) discs and six-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle.

BRABUS ensures extremely high directional stability with a sporty yet elegant designer suit developed in the wind tunnel. The BRABUS front fascia lends the S-Class an even more striking face while its sophisticated shape reduces lift on the front axle. The large central air inlet optimizes cooling of engine and front brakes. Integrated auxiliary headlamps and LED daytime running lights further improve active safety. The BRABUS front spoiler lip is made from clear-coated carbon fiber and attaches to the underside of the BRABUS front fascia. It further optimizes the car’s aerodynamic properties.

For an even more extravagant appearance of the sedan BRABUS offers custom-tailored aluminum front fenders that replace their production counterparts. The exclusive character of these fenders is embodied by an integrated air vent made from clear-coated carbon fiber and a horizontal brace that spans the vent with embossed BRABUS signet and integrated LED lights. The latter are activated just like the ones in the BRABUS side sills via the keyless remote or by pulling on a door handle.

For optimizing the airflow around the sides of the vehicle the designers sculpted BRABUS sill skirts that feature integrated entrance lights for added utility. They are activated by the keyless remote or by pulling on a door handle as are the blue-illuminated BRABUS logos integrated into the scuff plates on both sides of the vehicle.

The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement concept is rounded out by the BRABUS rear spoiler lip, also available in a clear-coated carbon-fiber version, and the new rear fascia with centrally located reflector and custom cutouts for the BRABUS quad sport exhaust system. The underside of the rear fascia also features integrated LED lights which illuminate the ground behind the vehicle. They help avoid any unfortunate missteps into puddles or potholes lurking in the dark.

BRABUS combines this high-performance technical feast with exclusive interior options that suit each customer’s personal taste down to the last detail. These options include fully leather interiors in any color imaginable, Alcantara supplements and exclusive wood trim sets which can be ordered in any desired color thanks to an innovative staining technology.

A particular BRABUS specialty is the creation of state-of-the-art multimedia equipment including the innovative BRABUS “iBusiness” concept, where the BRABUS specialists for the first time have integrated Apple components into the vehicle electronics of the Mercedes S-Class.

The professionals from Hoesbach have faced the task to give a special final touch to a Mercedes-Benz E 300 CDI.

The engine management optimization of the E 300 CDI power unit brings a total power of 267 HP on the wheels, the max torque raising up to 595 Nm (5,266 lbf in) at the same time. The power improvement (engine software) is available for 1,179 Euro only. For 1,118 Euro more one will obtain additionally an aluminum made air to air intercooler, bringing the total power up to smart 285 HP at 650 Nm (5,753 lbf in) of torque. For 822 Euro only VAETH will add four optically corresponding oval stainless steel tail pipes.

But the extreme propulsion, as well as the impressionating braking capacity via flexible steel braking tubes in combination with racing braking fluid (for 465 Euro) must be transmitted on the road, somehow – and in a stylish way. This job is now made by the in-house developed multi-part light alloy rims with forged rim star, 9×20” and 10.5×20”, equipped by high performance Hankook tires 245/30 ZR20 and 285/25 ZR20 respectively. The price for the wheelset – 7,900 Euro, depending on the tires brand.

In order to optimize the contact between vehicle and asphalt further on and without compromizes, VAETH brings a coilover for 2,964 Euro into the game, adjustable not only in height, but also in hardness – thus warranting for a safe road handling.

The car body modifications are not overstated, furthermore extremely harmonic ones. So, a complete aerodynamics package, consisting of a carbon front lip for 1,417 Euro, a carbon tail diffusor for 1,774 Euro, and the radiator grill without star for 798 Euro provides a gentle sportive outfit. A tail spoiler lip for 334 Euro, also in carbon, completes the masterpiece, improving the downforce on the rear axis.

The recent tuning action was baptized C63 AMG Dunlop-Performance. This C63 AMG Dunlop-Performance with its 190 mph (308 kmph, high speed cut) is as fast as a sports car.

With its modified electronic engine command, the exhaust manifold, its improved suction tubes and the K&N sports air filter, the engine performance is driven up to 540 hp (serial power 487 hp) by Wimmer RS.
Within only 4.4 seconds the C63 sprints from 0 up to 60 mph, 12.6 seconds to 120 mph. At 190 mph (308 kmph) the speed is cut off by an electronic speed limiter.

In order to optimize the contact between vehicle and asphalt without restrictions in racing sports and on the roads, Wimmer RS has employed a KW3 Club sports coilover chassis.

Racing engineering dominates the genes of the Dunlop tire Sportmaxx GT, in 235/35-19 on the front and 265/35-19 on the rear axis. These tires warrant for excellent high speed driving stability, also in speed regions over 190 mph (300 kmph).

The Wimmer RS C63 AMG Dunlop-Performance took part in the this year Tuner’s Grand Prix on the Hockenheimring and made a runner-up finish with its Dunlop high performance tires.

At the heart of the “iBusiness” is state-of-the-art entertainment and communication technology on wheels. The centerpiece of the system is an ultra-small Mac minicomputer safely housed under the rear shelf in an electrically deployed drawer whose design mirrors the design of the computer itself.

A 15.2-inch TFT display with 16:9 aspect ratio is integrated into the headliner covered with the finest Alcantara and contrasted with leather. Together with the standard screens in the back of the front headrests it serves as a display for the multimedia system. USB 2.0 ports integrated into the rear compartment allow connecting various peripherals to the Mac such as a webcam for video conferencing or a digital camera. The “iBusiness” is connected to the Internet via UMTS and HSDPA.

The entire BRABUS multimedia system is controlled from the passenger seat or the rear compartment by two iPads that also control the car’s standard COMAND system with all functions such as radio, navigation system and telephone.

While on the move the two tablet computers and the Bluetooth keyboard can be safely secured in precisely fitting recesses in the luxurious BRABUS rear tables. The table tops are covered with the same exclusive leather as the entire interior and are bordered by high-gloss aluminum frames. The tables are electrically deployed from special BRABUS seatback consoles and are infinitely adjustable to any angle. They offer ample space for perusing documents, the Apple mouse and keyboard.

When the iPads are not in use or when the “iBusiness” is parked they can be stored securely and hidden from sight in custom-tailored compartments in the BRABUS center console. A special BRABUS app will be available shortly for iPad and iPhone, the latter of which is also part of the standard equipment of the luxury sedan.

The music comes from a 64GB Apple iPod touch that can store more than 14,000 songs. The sound is reproduced either by the sound system of the S-Class or by Sennheiser Noise Gard headphones, which filter out any unwanted ambient noise for unparalleled listening pleasure.

Power-operated curtains provide privacy for the rear passengers and together with an innovative color-changing interior lighting system create a serene atmosphere. The BRABUS fully leather interior creates an exclusive ambiance further augmented by the new BRABUS Yachting wood trim package. It lends the interior of the luxury sedan a maritime feel that is reminiscent of classic Italian sport boats. All wood trim elements of the S-Class are painstakingly created by hand from hundreds of individual pieces and have the look and feel of a miniature ship veneer. The wood inlays have a high-gloss finish and meet the latest automotive quality and safety guidelines.

Scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo, an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel and anodized aluminum pedals add further individual highlights.

The BRABUS “iBusiness” is also the world’s most powerful luxury sedan and the fastest office on wheels. This unique automobile is powered by a BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 750 engine, a prime example for the proven fact that there is no substitute for displacement except more displacement. A special crankshaft with longer stroke, forged pistons with larger diameter and increased cylinder bore bump displacement from standard 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.). In addition the inlet and outlet ports of both cylinder heads are optimized for improved mixture flow. Four special camshafts also contribute to that same effect.

The BRABUS engine specialists also fit the engine with larger turbochargers, a more efficient intercooling system and a stainless-steel high-performance quad exhaust system with free-flow metal catalysts. Newly programmed engine electronics coordinate the perfect interaction of all new components and ensures not only maximum power yield but also exemplary low emissions that meet the latest emission limits.

The rated power output of 750 hp (740 bhp) / 552 kW at 5,500 rpm of the BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 750 engine is as superlative as its peak torque of 1,350 Nm (995 lb-ft) at 2,100 rpm. In the car torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).

These extraordinary power specs make the “iBusiness” with BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 750 engine the most powerful and the fastest luxury sedan in the world. 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.9 seconds are just as impressive as the electronically limited top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified five-speed automatic transmission. The optionally available BRABUS limited-slip differential optimizes traction. All BRABUS powertrain components are operated with ARAL high-performance lubricants.

BRABUS also offers performance increases for the S 600 and S 65 models. The list of options ranges from the T12 performance kit for a rated power output of 580 hp (572 bhp) / 419 kW to the T 65 S performance kit which boosts power output of the S 65 model to 715 hp (705 bhp) / 526 kW.

On the outside the BRABUS “iBusiness” is clad in a sporty yet elegant designer suit. The BRABUS designers went into the wind tunnel to develop a striking front fascia whose sophisticated shape reduces lift on the front axle. The large center air inlet further optimizes cooling of the engine and the front brakes. Integrated auxiliary headlights and LED daytime running lights increase the safety factor.

Custom-tailored BRABUS aluminum sport fenders that replace their production counterparts give the S-Class sedan an even more extravagant look. The exclusive character of these fenders is embodied by an integrated air vent made from clear-coated carbon fiber and a horizontal brace that spans the vent with embossed BRABUS signet and integrated LED lights. The latter are activated just like the ones in the BRABUS side sills via the keyless remote or by pulling on a door handle.

For optimizing the airflow around the sides of the vehicle the designers shaped BRABUS sill skirts that feature integrated entrance lights for added utility. They are activated by the keyless remote or by pulling on a door handle as are the blue-illuminated BRABUS logos integrated into the scuff plates on both sides of the vehicle.

The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement concept is rounded out by the BRABUS rear spoiler lip, also available in a clear-coated carbon-fiber version, and the new rear fascia with centrally located reflector and custom cutouts for the BRABUS quad sport exhaust system. The underside of the rear fascia also features integrated LED lights which illuminate the ground behind the vehicle. They help avoid any unfortunate missteps into puddles of potholes lurking in the dark.

The enormous performance of the “iBusiness” with BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 750 engine is kept safely under control with custom-tailored solutions for tires, brakes and suspension. They include BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels with diameters ranging from 19 to 21 inches.

The largest version features size 9Jx21 wheels on the front axle and size 10.5Jx21 in back. Customers can choose from four different designs Three-piece forged and high-gloss polished BRABUS Monoblock VI wheels with six double spokes, Monoblock E multi-spoke wheels, the Monoblock S double-spoke design and the especially exclusive Monoblock F PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels with cross-spoke design. All versions are fitted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA tires in size 265/30 ZR 21 in front and in size 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle.

Thanks to a tire design specifically calibrated to luxury sedans and high-performance coupes the new BRABUS tire/wheel combination offers sporty and agile handling combined with excellent ride comfort.

The large wheels also create the necessary space for installing the BRABUS high-performance brake system with 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 380 x 36-mm (15.0 x 1.42 inches) vented and cross-drilled discs in front, and 355 x 28-mm (14.0 x 1.1 inches) discs and six-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle.

Extremely light yet enormously strong carbon fiber identical to the one used in Formula 1 racing was chosen as the material for the BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement components. The components were developed in the wind tunnel. They give the gullwing car an even more striking appearance while optimizing its aerodynamic properties. All components are available either made from clear-coated carbon fiber for a true racing flair or can be painted to match or contrast with the car’s exterior color.

The front fascia of the coupe receives a visual upgrade with the BRABUS front spoiler. But that’s not all: The spoiler further reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds which results in even better directional stability. The two BRABUS covers for the upper air inlets in the bumper lend the SLS an even more striking face while optimizing the cooling air supply.

BRABUS also lends the sides of the SLS a sharper profile. The new air outlets for the front fenders feature a modern design with integrated blue-illuminated BRABUS lettering. The illumination is activated via the keyless-entry remote or by pulling on a door handle.

BRABUS also adds some more visual pizzazz to the rear appearance of the SLS with the BRABUS rear spoiler and the BRABUS rear fascia element that features custom-tailored cutouts for the four exhaust tips of the BRABUS sport exhaust system.

Forged wheels that were custom-developed for the SLS are also elementary for the electrifying BRABUS look. By choosing a staggered tire/wheel combination with diameters of 20 inches in front and 21 inches on the rear axle BRABUS further emphasizes the sporty character of the two-door car. The ultra-light BRABUS Monoblock F PLATINUM EDITION cross-spoke wheels are up to twelve percent lighter than the stock wheels of the SLS and are mounted in size 9.5Jx20 in front and in size 11Jx21 on the rear axle. The extremely wide high-performance tires in sizes 275/30 ZR 20 and 295/25 ZR 21 are supplied by BRABUS technology partners Pirelli and YOKOHAMA.

Another custom development is the height-adjustable BRABUS smooth-ride suspension (Ride Control). It can lower the ride height of the sports car by up to 40 millimeters (1.6 inches). At the push of a button the driver can choose between damper settings that offer a more comfortable or sportier ride compared to the production suspension. To complement this suspension BRABUS will soon offer the BRABUS Front Lift system. It raises the front of the car by some 50 millimeters (2 inches) at the push of a button to safely navigate steep parking ramps or other obstacles.

While engine tuning for the 6.3-liter V8 is still in the final development phase there already is an extremely lightweight BRABUS titanium sport exhaust system with four slanted exhaust tips. The tips have a diameter of 84 millimeters (3.3 inches). This exhaust system weighs 12 kilograms (26 lbs.) or 40 percent less than the production exhaust and adds an extra ten horsepower to the engine’s output. A special feature of this exhaust system is a pneumatically controlled bypass gate that is activated from the cockpit. The normal mode represents a “coming home” sound level that is quieter than the production exhaust. It appeals especially to the neighbors when the SLS returns home late at night. With open bypass gate the eight-cylinder engine sounds even sportier than with the stock exhaust system.

For the cockpit of the two-seater the BRABUS interior designers have developed exclusive accessories and masterfully crafted custom interiors. The speedometer with 400-km/h scale (250 mph) already hints at the car’s future performance with BRABUS engine tuning. An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel is also part of the BRABUS customization program as are stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo and matte-anodized pedals.

The BRABUS upholstery shop creates fully custom interiors for the SLS from top-quality materials. Customers can choose from different types of leather and Alcantara in any desired color and design to suit their individual tastes.

BRABUS can also fulfill individual requests for the trim on dashboard, center console and door panels. BRABUS manufactures carbon-fiber and wood trim sets in any color and with any desired surface finish.

With the tuning kit V25 (for about 1 200 Euros) the performance of the original 204 HP with an unchanged hub room size of 1 796 cm³ has been increased using motor technology to 255 HP (188 kW) and 370 Nm torque. This translates to a new maximum speed of 260km/h, which should in no way be underestimated.
In combination with the VÄTH charged air cooler (€1 118.60 ) and the VÄTH sports exhaust system (€2 011.10), the car can even reach 270 HP!

In addition to the motor-technical improvements, the external appearance of the C-class is part of the obligatory program at VÄTH: The C class presented here has been upgraded with special modifications to the coveted C63 AMG optic and tuned aerodynamically as well as visually with the VÄTH Carbon Motor bonnet (€4 641), the Carbon Front Spoiler Lip (€1 416.10) as well as through a Rear Diffsor (€1 773.10) made from carbon andTrunk Spoiler (€333.20).

Speaking of wheels: These are weight-optimised tailored rims 8.5×19 inches in size at the front and 9.5×19 inches at the bank, covered with 235/35ZR19 and 265/30ZR19: this costs around 4 046 Euros. The brake system has been adjusted to the new additions to be able to bring the vehicle to a stop much in much less time: 360 mm braking discs with 6 piston fixed gauges at the front and 320 mm braking discs with 4 piston fixed gauges at the back do their job reliably under any circumstances (complete for €5 355).

A complete running gear worthy of a racecourse has also been built in and has height and strength adjustible buffers as well as progressively harmonised springs so that the car drives comfortably on the one hand but still extremely precisely on the road.

Carbon can again be found on the interior, this time in combination with an Alcantara roof interior lining (€980.00).

The bottom line is not exhorbitant sums, but a result that can be seen absolutely anywhere.

This vehicle is an unusual concept – already at first sight the Black Saphire convinces of INDEN with a Design, which connects and to an unmistakable overall view leads futuristic and sporty elements in such a way.

The productionquality of the body components and their fitting accuracy are here excellent. To the body equipment belongs a front spoiler bumper, which slides perfectly along the body and which supports the look again. Thus not yet enough: there are fenders with ventilation openings, a complete hood with air intakes, sidesmolder-learn, to examine a tail apron with diffuser, a tailspoiler as well as rear widenings.
The body kit has a value of 19.900 euro for additional 3,500 euros you can get a hood, for 800 euros the tail diffuser in carbon and for 999 euros a front Flap of PE in addition.
The assembly of the body parts and the various adjustment work is separately calculated with 8,000 euros and the lacquer finish inclusive putty work with 7,500 euros.

Thus INDEN Design proves the experience in the body area again and successfully uses the know-how.
Now the SL goes into a new round, because after the vehicle was outwardly revised, also new for example the sharpened wheel set.

A further important contribution to the exclusive optics and performance makes the multipart Black Saphire light alloy wheels (13,200 euros inclusive sport tires) in 20 inch. These were installed in the quantity 11×20 inch and 13×20 inch with 275/30 R20 and 325/25 R20 high speed tire of Dunlop.

So that the driver can also use the required potential, a modified controlling (1,550 euros inclusive installation) of the ABC chassis makes a sinking for the body possible.

Starting from 70km/h the chassis will be raised around 20mm for improvement of comfort and values of axlegeometry.
The full package is completed with a back driving camera (900 euros), day driving lights (420 euros) and suitable Black Saphire high-grade steel exhaust embellishers (1,200 euros).

When desired an increase in output on 560 HP and 670Nm can be accomplished with INDEN Design. As another extra INDEN Design worries also around the adornment of the interior.

The company from Laupheim in southern Germany demonstrates this once again with the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. HAMANN presents premier tuning components for the Gullwing which enhances its sporty look and gives it that personal touch.

For the recently presented Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, HAMANN offers forged alloy wheels named DESIGN EDITION RACE “ANODIZED”. These wheels, which are produced using the most modern manufacturing processes, bring out the sporty design of the Coupé and ensure the highest load bearing capacity with low weight owing to special aluminium alloys. The look of the DESIGN EDITION RACE “ANODIZED” with its black matt anodized finish and the sophisticated cross-spokes fully meet the sporty expectations that customers have from the SLS AMG. Other sporty highlights are the progressively wound suspensions which lower the centre of gravity of the SLS at the front and rear axle by 30mm, thus improving the handling while going around curves at high speeds.

In addition, HAMANN offers a stainless steel exhaust system with a very sporty sound for the SLS. Two 90mm exhaust pipes on each side exude an impressive rumble from the V-8 engine.

The custom BRABUS Ride Control Suspension comprises newly developed gas-pressure shocks for front and rear axle that replace the production components. An elegant aluminum control switch, stylishly integrated into the center console in front of the shifter, lets drivers choose between ‘extra comfortable’ and ‘sporty comfortable’ damper settings.

The BRABUS Ride Control controller commands the electronically controlled valves in each shock absorber to switch to the selected mode and thus to dampen softer or firmer. Switching damper rates takes just five milliseconds and can be done while the vehicle is moving.

Upon engine start the system automatically pre-selects the last active setting prior to engine stop. The sport mode is indicated by a blue-illuminated selector switch.

The advantages of the innovative BRABUS suspension concept for the G-Class are apparent: In normal driving mode it provides notably higher ride comfort than the production car, which is especially beneficial at low speeds as well as on rough roads or in terrain. At higher speeds selecting the firmer sport damper settings offer more dynamic handling and further increased safety reserves.

The BRABUS Ride Control custom suspension is available for all Mercedes G-Class models regardless of body style from the G 350 CDI to the G 500 (US G550) and the G 55 AMG.

A well thought out concept is necessary to provide the four-door sports-limousine with a stylish and cutting edge profile. This requires a lot of experience, because upgrading a vehicle that is not yet for sale can be quite difficult – but not for the well trained Lorinser personnel.

„We will distribute our tuning-version globally in 45 countries, therefore a sophisticated body-design is required.“, explained Marcus Lorinser, owner of Sportservice Lorinser. The Lorinser-interpretation emphasises the sportive features with strikingly impressive innovation. Large air intake grills characterise the distinctive appearance of the front-end and enable an optimal fresh air supply to engine and brakes. The extended fenders not only enhance the masculine appearance of the car, but also provide space for the 21-inch light-alloy wheels.

But not only the styling will be optimised: Chassis, engine and interior is also upgraded at Lorinser-manufacturing. Featuring these upgrades, the Lorinser-CLS will advance to „eye candy“ on the luxury boulevards of all major cities.

The self-set target of the Kamp-Lintfort company was making the “large” Mercedes-Benz roadster even more perfect. The PD-SERIES inspiration very clearly was the super sports car Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series. The result will excite every car enthusiast: Flowing lines, expressive curves, massive air inlets and muscular sides summarize the perfect PD-SERIES view.

Let us look at it in detail, starting with the front. This is where the superior width of the PD-SERIES hardly makes it possible for the viewer to avert his eyes from the overwhelming fenders. Still getting over the endorphin-filled moment surprise, the eye takes I the harmonious line flowing from the fender to the front area. Only few centimetres below the futuristic Facelift headlights, there is a front spoiler with large, greedy air inlets. The cowl with its many air inlets reaches up to the windshield supplying even high-performance motors with sufficient air.

The side area with its wide wheels is reminiscent of a muscular monster waiting to jump its prey. The side dills harmoniously connect the masculine sides to make the car look as if made from a single cast.

Going father around the vehicle, we can then see the rear, dominant due to the imposing wheel arches that make the SL seem impossibly wide. The large track of the PD-SERIES is connected by a perfectly rounded rear bumper from one wheel arch to the other, which in turn is equipped with a diffuser based on racing technology. It is available either as sight carbon or full carbon.

Finally, Prior-Design makes it possible to lower the car mechanically as well as electronically (with integrated Airmatic). Using the above wheel/tyre combination, Prior-Design also recommends optimising the suspension tuning.

In conjunction with the component supplier, what is known as Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T.) has been implemented a particularly high-technology casting, forging and rolling process improves the mechanical characteristics of the rims by reducing the material thickness which reduces the overall wheel weight. The unsprung mass on the car is thus reduced, the handling characteristics undergo a definite improvement.

With the new RS9 light alloy rim this revolutionary production method has become part of the Lorinser product line. Exhaustive tests show that a rim produced using the M.A.T. process guarantees the same performance capabilities as a conventionally manufactured wheel. At the same time there are practically no restrictions on the possibilities for design, as the Lorinser RS9 amply demonstrates. Five slotted triple spokes characterise the modern style.

BRABUS T65 RS tuning unleashes the inherent power reserves of the Black Series engine. It includes the BRABUS high-tech twin turbo system that includes two special exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers. Powered by this engine, the Black Series coupe delivers truly superlative performance: From rest the sports car, weighing in at a mere 1,795 kilograms (3,957 lbs.) sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds, and reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) after just 9.8 seconds. The car could reach a top speed of more than 330 km/h (206 mph) but for tire safety reasons top speed is limited electronically to 320 km/h (200 mph).

The BRABUS upholstery shop creates a special sporty and luxurious interior to customers’ exact specifications, down to the last detail. The power comfort seats offer excellent lateral support without constricting the occupants. In this true BRABUS one-off car, made to the specifications of a longtime customer, they are upholstered in an exclusive combination of especially soft and breathable black leather and Alcantara. The bonnet and the front spoiler with extra big air intakes, LED daylight lamps and Xenon units in the fog-lights contribute to a sportive, eye-catching design of a strong V58k G-class model. The rear looks bulky and forms together with the sports exhaust system visible on both sides a perfect symbiosis. Sports appearance created by the VAETH is powered additionally by the complete “Race Edition” foliation.

Fully lowered by 35 mm, the G-class model together with its sports shock absorbers grant you a real feeling. The extravagant VAETH light metal rims in 10×22’’ with 295/35R22 Yokohama ADV ST air tires underline the sportive power packet once more.

The interior is decorated by carbon applications, there is a speedometer reaching up to 330 km/h, an Alcantara covered sports steering wheel and everything is covered by the leather. The multimedia system tops the ensemble.

In order to stop the hp monster at one time or another, VAETH has equipped it by a sports braking system with 390 mm sports brake disks.

The lineup features engine tuning, including the BRABUS 6.1 capacity engine with 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW of power, a dynamically styled aerodynamic-enhancement program, custom-tailored wheels with diameters ranging from 17 to 20 inches, corresponding sport suspensions and striking interior options.

The BRABUS engine specialists unleash the true power inherent in the common-rail turbodiesel engines and CGI BlueEFFICIENCY direct-injection gasoline engines with ECO PowerXtra performance kits.

The BRABUS ECO Power Extra D4 power kit bumps rated power output of the four-cylinder turbodiesel engine of the E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model from standard 204 hp (201 bhp) / 150 kW to 235 hp (232 bhp) / 173 kW. Simultaneously peak torque grows to 560 Nm (413 lb-ft). The BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6 (III) module for the six-cylinder turbodiesel engine of the E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model bumps power output to 272 hp (268 bhp) / 200 kW and peak torque to 590 Nm (435 lb-ft). BRABUS ECO PowerXtra CGI tuning increases power output of the E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY gasoline model from standard 204 hp (201 bhp) / 150 kW to 230 hp (227 bhp) / 169 kW at a low 5,500 rpm. Peak torque jumps from 310 Nm to 350 Nm (229 to 258 lb-ft). In the E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY model with direct-injection gasoline engine BRABUS tuning provides an additional 18 hp (18 bhp) / 13.2 kW.

The most powerful BRABUS option for the Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet is the BRABUS 6.1 capacity engine. The V8 engine of the E 500 (US: E550) model is modified extensively. A steel billet crankshaft with longer stroke, larger cylinder bore and correspondingly larger pistons affect a displacement increase from 5.5 to 6.1 liters (336 to 372 cubic inch). The engine conversion further includes four-valve cylinder heads optimized for mixture flow, installation of special camshafts and the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust system with high-performance metal catalysts. Custom-programmed engine electronics ensure the precise interaction of all new components.

Like all BRABUS engines the BRABUS 6.1 capacity engine is lubricated exclusively with ARAL high-performance synthetic motor oil. It produces a rated power output of 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and a peak torque of 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) at a low 3,100 rpm. Powered by this engine, the E-Class convertible sprints from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). This level of performance places the tuned E-Class Cabriolet firmly among the world’s fastest four-seater soft-top cars.

One-piece or multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock alloy wheels with diameters of 17, 18 or 19 inches round out the exclusive BRABUS look. The largest tire/wheel combination for the E-Class Cabriolet features BRABUS Monoblock VI, E, Q or S wheels in size 8.5Jx19 on the front axle and in size 9.5Jx19 in back. The optimal high-performance tires come from Pirelli and YOKOHAMA in size 235/35 ZR 19 in front and up to size 275/30 ZR 19 on the rear axle. 20-inch BRABUS wheels will be available for the new Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet in the near future.

The BRABUS suspension solutions are calibrated specifically to the use with these sporty low-profile tires. The available options range from sport springs, which lower the ride height of the two-door by some 30 millimeters (1.2 inches), to height-adjustable coil-over suspensions with variable damper rates.

Maximum active safety is also a top priority when it comes to brakes: Various BRABUS high-performance brake systems are available including the top-of-the-line version with six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 360-mm (14.2 inches) vented and perforated discs on the front axle and four-piston aluminum fixed calipers in the rear.

The result of the development work is a suspension set that brings the 2+2 seater around 25 to 30 millimetres closer to the tarmac. The basic characteristics of the chassis’ looks are thus accentuated, without in any way diluting the overall design concept. Even the driving performance could be made a touch more dynamic with the H&R suspension kit – naturally without perceptibly reducing the comfort of this luxury convertible. Figuratively speaking: the OE shock absorbers of the open E-Class blend with the H&R suspension set to form one dynamic unit with long haul qualities. Alterations to the chassis or to the wheel-tyre combination are, of course, unnecessary.

Another and equally discreet – highlight can be achieved from the H&R TRAK+ Wheel Spacers made of high tensile aluminium – regardless of whether they are combined with works or tuned wheels. The small gap between the wheel arch and the edge of the wing can thus be visually perfected, which results in convertible presenting a more flowing overall picture.

With manufacturing by the RTM process you can reach the best quality and the cleanest Carbonstructure. You can fit the new diffuser only in conjunction with the SL rear apron since 2009. In older vehicles, you have to retrofit first, and without major problems, the SL rear apron from model 2009. After this, the new carbon diffuser can be mounted. The SL carbon diffuser is offered worldwide only by Schatz Performance. A sale price is not fixed yet.
