Mercedes-Benz Vans has become the first manufacturer of commercially used vans to open an online sales channel. The pilot is being launched in the Netherlands with the Mercedes-Benz Citan and in cooperation with the local dealer network.
Mercedes-Benz Vans recognises the signs of the times
The online purchase of products is now trending – among both private and commercial customers. Speed and efficiency as well as attractive offerings play an important role in connection with online purchasing decisions. This trend is now being addressed by Mercedes-Benz Vans in the Netherlands with the online platform www.besteleenbestelwagen.nl.
This new online platform will regularly offer limited numbers of vans for sale. Vehicles are delivered no later than seven days after the order has been received and, if required, right on the doorstep. Customers are notified if the vans on offer have sold out. In such a case, they can put their name on a waiting list. They are informed as soon as new offers are available.
Online purchasers can save up to 15 percent on the monthly payment installments for a van.
Starting with the Mercedes-Benz Citan, available for ordering quickly and easily online
In the initial pilot phase, the urban delivery van Citan will be available on the online sales channel in a fixed equipment configuration and with a valid 48-month service leasing contract with an annual mileage ranging from 20 000 to 40 000 kilometers. The leasing contract comes with a comprehensive service package consisting of insurance, warranty, maintenance, repairs and breakdown assistance.
