In course of the shift of the C-Class production from Sindelfingen to the plant in Tuscaloosa, Daimler wants to create more jobs in his U.S. factory. Currently produces, about 2,800 people, the M-, R- and GL-Class.

Board member Wilfried Porth said on Wednesday, that the plan is, to create over 1,000 jobs and rise to 4,000 as of 2014.
